There are many times where we celebrate moments involving children: a baby is born, they find the strength to roll over, they say their first word, they start to crawl and eventually walk, they draw their first picture of a “doggy,” and so on. For all who have children or children in their family, these are times of celebration!
The first weekend in February this year was a snowy one! On Saturday night, the Kettle Moraine State Forest – Northern Unit hosted their annual Candlelight Ski/Walk event at the Zillmer Trails.
In partnership with Sheboygan County Emergency Management, United Way of Sheboygan County’s Volunteer Center will be conducting a Disaster Volunteer Reception Center (VRC) Training on April 13th from 9 am to 2 pm. The event will be held at the Sheboygan County Health and Human Services building at 1011 North 8th Street in Sheboygan.
It’s that time of year again! Dine out for United Way is happening March 9 – 18, 2018. United Way is teaming up with local restaurants to continue influencing positive change in Sheboygan County.

One of my 2018 resolutions is to volunteer once a month at different nonprofit agencies. On January 24, I volunteered for the Point In Time Homeless Count, an experience I will never forget.
