United Way of Sheboygan County strives to collaborate, increase access, spread awareness for local solutions to the increasing needs in our community.
How we make a difference
We are all connected and interdependent. We all win when a child succeeds in school, when families are financially stable, when people are healthy.
Quality education is essential to obtaining and keeping a job with a livable wage and health benefits. Financial stability ensures individuals and families can pay for today’s necessities and save for the future. Connecting to affordable health services keeps children on track in school and adults productive at work.
Your support of United Way of Sheboygan County is the most powerful investment you can make in our community. No other single organization has the scope, expertise, and influence to bring together hundreds of human services agencies, government, businesses, private foundations, and dedicated volunteers around a common vision of creating maximum impact and achieving long-lasting results.
Community Action Fund Update
Collectively, the contributions made to the Community Action Fund during the 2020-2021 Campaign will provide $2.091 million dollars to support 38 Partner Agency programs, 3 Community Impact Initiatives, and other community programming such as 2-1-1 Resource Center, 2021 Day of Caring grants, support for Diversity Equity Inclusion and Belonging for the social sector, and a new Emergency Reserve Grant opportunities for nonprofits.
UWSC’s 40 Partner Agency programs are funded based on an in-depth reporting system reviewed by trained board members and volunteers from the community. Both UWSC’s Community Impact Initiatives, Sheboygan County Community Partnership for Children (CPC) and the Providing Access To Healing (PATH), use a collective impact model that is executed by multiple organizations uniting for a common goal.
