Volunteer Update for Cascade's VRC

Volunteer Update for Cascade's VRC Header Image

No more volunteers are needed to assist responders with debris removal in the Village of Cascade at this time. After the severe weather passed through Sheboygan County Tuesday night, response teams were actively working to clear debris, however, we no longer are requesting assistance from community volunteers. Thank you to the volunteers that have assisted the efforts thus far.

After response efforts today, all primary streets have been cleared, WE Energies has restored power to portions of the village and continues to make progress. A preliminary damage assessment has been conducted in the village and will be completed in the morning of Thursday, August 30th. At that time, we will know what our volunteer needs are.

Please watch for press releases and notifications related to our potential need for volunteers in the future. We continue to ask that you please avoid the area while emergency management personnel clear debris.
