September and October have been designated as United Way Months in Wisconsin, in recognition of the launch of United Way annual campaigns throughout the state. For more than 80 years, United Way of Sheboygan County has been working to build a stronger and healthier community through effectively facilitating community resources, convening broad dialogue and focusing on the areas of highest need. Many companies in Sheboygan County run employee campaigns this time of year, and some run special events as a boost to their annual campaign to support the United Way’s mission.
