What a beautiful Fall we are enjoying here in Sheboygan County. This is one of our favorite seasons, bringing with it the changing of the leaves, football, brisk nights, and most importantly, the kick-off for the annual Sheboygan County United Way Fundraising Campaign.
The floodgates have opened, campaign packets have been delivered and company campaigns are kicking off! Employers reaching all corners of our county understand the value of working with employees to raise funds to support families from Cedar Grove to Random Lake, and from Elkhart Lake to Beechwood! In fact, our local employers are such strong believers in the measurable results the United Way shows that they often match a portion of their employee’s contributions, working together to make our community stronger.
As this year’s campaign co-chairs, we want to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of the employers who are participating in the United Way campaigns this year. Without your willingness to allow this fundraising at your worksites, we could never fulfill the mission to build a stronger and healthier Sheboygan County.
In addition, we can not overlook the need to thank all of the employees who contribute through these worksite campaigns! Thank you for taking time to understand the value of the United Way in our communities. Like you, we are very supportive of the diligence that the United Way puts into ensuring that your contributions fund programs right here in our communities. In addition, the United Way ensures that the agencies receiving funding are properly allocating the grants to the highest areas of need, as well as requiring positive measurable results from the funds that are granted annually.
We continue to be proud of the hard work that United Way performs. Please join us in showing your support of the Untied Way and continue your giving to help your neighbors right here in Sheboygan County.
