Partner Spotlight: Family Service Association (CCCS)

United Way currently invests in the following programs for Family Service Association:

  • Budget and Credit Counseling
  • Financial Education

Budget and Credit Counseling: The program is a one-on-one comprehensive consultation that concludes with the creation of an action plan which lays out a road map of the steps to success.

79% of budget and credit counseling clients reduced their debt within six months and 65% increased their credit score in the same time frame.

Financial Education: Education for over 30 different financial topics are provided to various non-profits and local employers. An ongoing education opportunity is held every week to the Salvation Army lodge residents at no charge. 

83% of clients indicated that financial education gave them a sense of relief from financial stress.
