United Way currently invests in the two following programs at Catholic Charities:
- Behavioral Health
- Outreach and Case Management
Behavioral Health: The program serves adults, children and families who suffer from emotional distress. Recognizing the added challenges of people living in poverty, Catholic Charities accepts patients who do not have any means to pay, as well as those with limited resources, on a sliding fee scale adjusted to an individual's or family's size and financial situation.
Outreach and Case Management: This program supports individuals by assessing their needs and developing an action plan to resolve issues and improve their situation. This includes advocating and connecting them with resources to help achieve their goals.
In addition, Catholic Charities employs a bilingual case manager and bilingual therapists who provide culturally competent services for Spanish-speaking individuals.
