UNITED WAY OF SHEBOYGAN COUNTY HIRES NEW COORDINATOR FOR THE SHEBOYGAN COUNTY COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP FOR CHILDREN

SHEBOYGAN, WI – United Way of Sheboygan County announces Colleen Steinbruecker as the Sheboygan County Community Partnership for Children Coordinator (SCCPC).

“We are pleased to have Colleen continue her fine work with our community’s youth by joining the team at United Way of Sheboygan County,” said Executive Director Tom Malmstadt.

In this role, Steinbruecker will continue facilitating and expanding the programs and activities under SCCPC such as, the Welcome Baby program, Child Developmental Screening events and Parent Café workshops. Steinbruecker will also continue conversations with the SCCPC coalition to discuss the needs of youth and families in Sheboygan County.

Steinbruecker earned her Associates degree in Child Development, as well as Bachelors of the Arts Degree in Elementary education with a minor in Early Childhood. Along with her education, she brings over 20 years of experience in early childhood. For the past 7 years, she served as an early childhood consultant and trainer for Family Connections. Additionally, she spent 8 years at Head start as a preschool teacher.

Currently, she also teaches as an adjunct professor in the Early Childhood program at Moraine Park Technical College. Steinbruecker continues to invest her talents into Sheboygan County, as she is a Sheboygan Falls native and currently lives in Sheboygan with her husband and their 4-year-old son.

“Colleen’s skills, knowledge and disposition are exactly what is needed to fill the big shoes left by Corrissa Frank, the former Community Partnership for Children Coordinator” Malmstadt added.  Frank transitioned into her new role as the director of major gifts earlier this month.
